National Capital Area Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)

This organization works to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention through education and outreach programs, as well as support for those affected by suicide. They often have opportunities for volunteers to assist with:

The Samaritans of Maryland
