Frequently asked questions
Participants leave with practical early-intervention skills. Following each class, we use a three-question survey to generate measurable impact data based on participants’ increased ability to:
1) connect—using empathy—with someone who might be struggling.
2) identify early risk factors and warning signs, and take timely steps before risk escalates to thoughts of suicide.
3) modify a generic best-practice dialogue to fit their particular situation.
Our classes are customized for your community—we tailor examples, risk factors, and resources for each group (corporate teams (management / staff), military/veteran communities, universities, youth organizations, legal professionals / attorney continuing legal education, civic groups, faith communities, and more! We provide general starting point resources and highlight your organization’s resources and support as well.
No, KEYS 365 does not provide clinical services or crisis response. We provide education, not clinical care. During classes, we model how to notice, ask, and connect—and point to your community’s resources. For urgent needs, call or text 988 (U.S.) or use your local emergency number.
