LISA KRUMM
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Lisa grew up in a military family and later served in the United States Air Force. Being a veteran and then military spouse, her life has been shaped by the experiences and values of the military community. She learned early on the unique challenges military families face. After living in diverse locations around the world, and across the United States, Lisa now calls Alaska home.
Lisa holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership and has focused much of her career on supporting military-connected children; particularly in helping them thrive both academically and emotionally. Through her work with national and local non-profits, Lisa has had the privilege of developing programs that prioritize mental health support while fostering academic success for children of military families.
Lisa believes in the power of community, empathy, and understanding to help individuals navigate their struggles and find the support they need to succeed.
