J.D. HENDRICKSON

ADVISORY BOARD

J.D. currently works as a Training Systems Expert for Lockheed Martin, where he oversees all training deliverables produced in support of C-130 aircraft worldwide.

He also serves as the Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer (EPLO) for FEMA Region 6. In this part-time reservist role, he coordinates air assets and air support for emergency response operations (hurricanes, floods, and man-made disasters) across Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and New Mexico.

Previously, J.D. served as the Director of the C-130 Combined Test Force (CTF) at the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Test Center (AATC). He led AATC’s C-130 division in test modernization and evaluation and executed the duties of Squadron Command for Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve, and civilian service members.

J.D. is a 2001 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He served 12 years on active duty as a C-130 instructor and weapons officer before transitioning to the Air Force Reserve in 2012. Throughout his career, he has served as an instructor pilot at the operational, initial training, and weapons school levels in both the Air Force Reserve and the Air National Guard. He was hand-selected to augment the U.S. Air Force Weapons School as an Operations Officer and has held leadership roles across 24 years of service.

J.D. has deployed in support of multiple contingency operations and has flown more than 540 combat sorties. He served as Deputy Air Expeditionary Group Commander at Bagram Airfield, leading six distinct mission sets across coalition and interagency partners.

He remains deeply committed to supporting veterans and strengthening mental health initiatives. J.D. believes programs like KEYS 365 play a vital role in building resilience and empowering military and veteran communities.
